The Twin Ports Women’s Foundation is open to all women who want to maximize their impact on our community through collective giving. The collective effect of pooling individual donations is to award grants to nonprofit organizations within 50-mile radius of Downtown Duluth, MN. Your contribution provides a direct and immediate benefit to our community. The result of women giving as one is transformative! The more members we have, the more we can give.
Membership in Twin Ports Women’s Foundation is renewed on an annual basis. You must be at least 21 years old to join. Members are eligible to participate in the grants process, vote on all issues presented to membership, attend Twin Ports Women’s Foundation events, and serve on the Board of Directors and other teams.
The Twin Ports Women’s Foundation offers education events including an annual meeting where the current grant recipients are introduced to members. Members are welcome to be as active as they’d like. Whether that means attending the annual meeting only, serving on a committee, or simply paying the annual contribution and voting for the grant recipients.
Your annual commitment of $550 must be paid in full by December 31 in order to be eligible to vote for grant winners. $500 of this donation is dedicated to our yearly grants. The remaining $50 goes to support the administrative costs of the Twin Ports Women’s Foundation. Payment options are as follows:
